CAN I USE A FACTORING COMPANY?
We will work with your factoring company every step of the way. We will forward rate confirmations and BOL's to your factoring company for you.
CAN I PICK MY ROUTES?
Yes, drivers can be routed to-or-through the house as directed by you.
HOW CAN I PAY FOR YOUR SERVICES?
We accept Visa and MasterCard for credit and debit cards. We also accept money orders, or cashiers check and even PayPal!
IF I TAKE A VACATION, AM I STILL CHARGED?
Nope! You pay when you drive, so take that vacation!
DO YOU OFFER ANY OTHER SERVICES BESIDES DISPATCH?
Yes, we can help you with nearly every aspect of your trucking operation, from logistics and setup to daily management, accounting, consulting and more. Anything and everything to make your job easier.
ARE THERE ANY LONG-TERM CONTRACTS WITH CALHOUN DISPATCHING?
There are no long-term commitments, cancel anytime. We will work hard to make sure that you're satisfied with our services.
WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS TO SIGN UP?
COPY OF INSURANCE NAMING 'CALHOUN DISPATCHING' AS THE CERTIFICATE HOLDER.
This is a common practice for shippers, brokers & dispatchers alike. Copy of insurance should state both liability and cargo coverage.
SIGNED 'DISPATCHER CARRIER AGREEMENT'
Why do I need to sign this? First, you can rest assured, this is NOT a contract. Our services are month-to-month. If you are dealing with a reputable company, an agreement should always be set in place that spells out exactly who is responsible for what. This way everyone is protected. There is absolutely no penalty for discontinuing service.
CARRIER SETUP PACKAGE & REFERENCES
This not only for our records but also for the Shippers & Brokers we do business with. This would include a copy of your MC Permit (FMCSA – http://www.fmcsa.dot.gov/) as well as a signed W9 form.
COPY OF CDL (FOR EACH DRIVER BEING DISPATCHED)
In order to make sure all safety & compliance ordinances by the government are being met, we need to keep accurate records.
